Day By Day Itinerary
1Day 1:Arrival in Manali – Kullu Valley Bike Ride
Your Manali to Leh Ladakh bike trip begins in Manali.
On arrival, meet the KoiKoi Travel team and transfer to your hotel. After completing check-in and having lunch, get ready for your first ride.
Today is a comfortable introduction to the journey. Ride through the beautiful Kullu Valley, with the Himalayan mountains rising around you and the Beas River flowing alongside parts of the route.
Use the ride to get familiar with your motorcycle and prepare yourself for the more demanding mountain roads ahead.
Return to Manali in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

2Day 2:Manali – Jispa | Approx. 92 km
After breakfast, get your motorcycle ready and begin your first major Himalayan road day.
The route takes you towards Rohtang Pass and then into the dramatic landscapes of Lahaul Valley. As the scenery changes, green mountain slopes gradually give way to more rugged terrain.
Continue towards Tandi and Keylong, with opportunities for a bike check or basic servicing if required.
From Keylong, ride onwards through the mountain scenery towards Jispa.
The roads and landscapes become increasingly remote, making this an exciting start to your actual Manali to Leh motorcycle journey.
Check into your accommodation in Jispa and relax after the ride.

3Day 3:Jispa – Sarchu | Approx. 78 km
Today takes you deeper into the high-altitude Himalayan landscape.
After breakfast, ride towards Sarchu, crossing the spectacular Bara-Lacha La.
This is an important part of the journey because altitude starts becoming a serious factor. Take the ride slowly, stay hydrated and follow the instructions of your tour captain.
After crossing the pass, descend towards the rougher stretches near Bharatpur before continuing towards Sarchu.
Eventually, the landscape opens into the broad, remote terrain around Sarchu, where you will spend the night at camp.
Enjoy dinner and get plenty of rest before tomorrow's demanding ride.

4Day 4:Sarchu – Leh | Approx. 259 km
Get ready for one of the toughest and most rewarding riding days of the tour.
After breakfast, start your motorcycle journey from Sarchu and tackle the famous Gata Loops, a series of sharp hairpin bends climbing through the mountains.
Continue towards Nakee La and then Lachulung La before reaching the Pang area.
The journey continues across the spectacular high-altitude landscape towards Tanglang La, another major pass on the Manali–Leh route.
After crossing the high passes, continue towards Leh. Depending on the day's route and conditions, there may be an opportunity to visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery before reaching the city.
Arrive in Leh, check into your hotel and enjoy a well-earned evening.

Ride Time: Around 7–8 hours, depending on road and weather conditions.
5Day 5:Leh – Nubra Valley | Approx. 116 km
After breakfast, leave Leh and ride towards the spectacular Nubra Valley.
Your route takes you over Khardung La, one of the most famous high-altitude passes associated with Ladakh's motorcycle journeys.
Stop along the way for breaks and refreshments before continuing towards Diskit. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy the panoramic views over the Nubra landscape.
Continue towards Hunder, where the scenery becomes surprisingly desert-like, with sand dunes surrounded by huge Himalayan mountains.
After checking into your camp, you can enjoy optional local activities, including the famous double-humped Bactrian camel experience, depending on local operation and conditions.
Spend the evening relaxing at camp.

Distance: Approx. 116 km
6Day 6:Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake | Approx. 274 km
Wake up early because today is another major adventure day.
After breakfast, leave Nubra and ride towards Pangong Lake via the Shyok route.
The road cuts through some spectacular and remote Himalayan scenery, making the journey as exciting as the destination.
Along the way, cross Chang La, one of Ladakh's famous high mountain passes.
Eventually, the deep blue waters of Pangong Lake come into view against the stark mountains.
Check into your camp and take some time to relax beside the lake. Sunset and evening light can create fantastic conditions for photography.
Enjoy dinner at camp and spend the night near one of Ladakh's most iconic landscapes.

Distance: Approx. 274 km
Ride Time: Around 8 hours, depending on conditions.
7Day 7:Pangong Lake – Leh | Approx. 229 km
Wake up to the incredible scenery of Pangong Lake.
After breakfast, start your ride back towards Leh.
The journey provides another chance to enjoy the stark beauty of the Ladakh mountains. As you approach Leh, the landscape gradually changes and the road becomes more familiar.
After reaching Leh, check into your accommodation and take some time to rest.
Later, visit Shanti Stupa and explore the Leh Market if time and energy allow. You can browse for local products and souvenirs before returning to your hotel.

8Day 8:Leh – Sarchu | Approx. 259 km
Today begins the return leg of your Manali to Leh Ladakh bike trip.
After breakfast, start riding from Leh towards Sarchu.
Retrace parts of the high-altitude route, passing through the dramatic landscapes of Ladakh and the surrounding mountain passes.
Take regular breaks during the ride, especially at higher elevations, and stay hydrated.
On reaching Sarchu, check into your accommodation and relax.
The evening is free to unwind after another long day on the motorcycle.

9Day 9:Sarchu – Manali | Approx. 210 km
Your final major riding day takes you from Sarchu back to Manali.
After breakfast, get on your motorcycle and begin the journey towards Bara-Lacha La and the Lahaul region.
Continue through the changing mountain landscapes and eventually approach Rohtang Pass.
As you descend towards Manali, the landscape becomes greener and more familiar, marking the transition from the high-altitude desert of Ladakh back towards Himachal Pradesh.
