About This Tour
Are you looking for a quick reset from the daily grind? Our Rishikesh Yoga & Meditation Tour is built for exactly that — a short trip where mornings start with yoga instead of alarms, and evenings end by the Ganga instead of a screen. KoiKoi Travel handles the pickup, stay, and sessions, so you can just show up and slow down.
Over three days, you'll settle into a gentle rhythm — a sunrise yoga session, some time exploring Rishikesh on foot, a proper local meal, and an evening by the river watching the Ganga Aarti. It's a good fit if you've been wanting to try yoga somewhere it actually feels right, or just need a couple of days away from the city noise.
Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1:Delhi to Rishikesh
We'll pick you up in the morning from your location in Delhi or NCR, and from there it's about a 6-hour drive up to Rishikesh. Once you check into your hotel or ashram, take a bit of time to settle in — the evening is for the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, one of those things that's worth experiencing in person rather than reading about.
Overnight stay: Rishikesh
Day 2:Yoga, Walking, and the Ganga
The day starts early with a yoga session led by an experienced instructor — a good way to ease into the morning before the town wakes up properly. After breakfast, there's time to explore Rishikesh at a relaxed pace: Laxman Jhula, the Beatles Ashram, and Parmarth Niketan are all worth wandering through. For lunch, you'll get to try some of the local food that Rishikesh is genuinely known for. In the evening, there's a second yoga session to close out the day — a nice way to wind down before dinner.
Overnight stay: Rishikesh
Day 3:Rishikesh-Delhi(Departure)
One last morning yoga session before you check out, then it's time to head back to Delhi. On arrival, you'll be dropped at the airport or railway station, ready for your onward journey.

Things You Will Do on This Trip
Rishikesh is the world capital of yoga, offering a serene blend of spiritual traditions, Himalayan scenery, and mindful living for solo travelers and family holidays:
Practice Sunrise Yoga by the Ganges: Stretch and breathe as cool morning breezes blow off the river, learning ancient breathing techniques (pranayama) that calm the nervous system.
Listen to Vedic Chants at Sunset Aarti: Sit on the stone steps of Parmarth Niketan as hundreds of oil lamps float on the river and sacred chants echo off the forested hills.
Wander the Beatles Ashram Ruins: Explore 84 stone meditation domes built in the 1960s, surrounded by tall sal trees and peaceful nature trails.
Cross the Iconic Suspension Bridges: Stroll across Ram Jhula and Janki Jhula high above the emerald-green waters, taking in 360-degree views of ashrams and mountains.
Food Culture in Rishikesh
Rishikesh offers some of India's best healthy, satvik, and organic vegetarian dining:
Herbal & Fresh Teas: Sip hot ginger lemon honey tea, tulsi infusion, or golden turmeric latte at riverside open-air cafes overlooking the rapids.
Wholesome Ayurvedic Thali: Enjoy balanced meals of yellow dal, steamed brown rice, seasonal green vegetables, and fresh mint chutney made without garlic or heavy oils.
Artisan Wood-Fired Pizzas: Rishikesh is famous for European-style cafes serving fresh thin-crust pizzas made with fresh basil and buffalo mozzarella.
Chhotiwala's Royal Thali: Visit this 65-year-old landmark near Ram Jhula for traditional North Indian curries, crisp pooris, and warm gulab jamuns.
Local Culture & Friendly Greetings
Because Rishikesh is an international hub for yoga students and spiritual seekers, English and Hindi are spoken universally.
The everyday greeting you will hear in every ashram, yoga school, and cafe is:
"Hari Om!" (Huh-ree Ohm): A gentle greeting invoking peace and divine energy. Used instead of hello and goodbye.
"Namaste": Traditional greeting with folded hands.
"Pranam": A respectful greeting used when addressing elderly monks, teachers (swamis), or priests.
Real Tips Before You Leave Delhi
Loose Cotton Clothing: Pack comfortable, loose clothing for yoga. Modest dress covering shoulders and knees is expected when walking through temple and ashram areas.
Monkey Caution on the Bridges: Playful monkeys frequent Ram Jhula. Keep sunglasses and open food items safely tucked inside your backpack while crossing.
Slip-On Shoes: You take off footwear at all ashrams, yoga halls, and ghats. Slip-on shoes or sandals make life effortless.
Luggage Stays Safe: Your suitcases stay locked securely in your private car trunk under your chauffeur's care during day excursions.
24/7 WhatsApp Assistance: Our team stays connected on WhatsApp throughout your wellness holiday for local tips, schedule adjustments, or special requests.
