Day By Day Itinerary
1Day 1:Arrive in Jaisalmer – Desert Camp & Camel Safari
Your Rajasthan adventure begins in Jaisalmer. Once you arrive at the airport or railway station, your private vehicle will pick you up and take you towards the desert area.
The drive itself gives you a first look at the dry landscapes surrounding the Golden City. Depending on your arrival time, you can stop at Amar Sagar and Bada Bagh before continuing towards the desert camp.
By afternoon, reach your camp near the Sam Sand Dunes and settle in. Later, head out for a camel safari across the dunes. The best part is watching the changing colors of the sand as the sun starts going down.
Once darkness arrives, return to camp for a relaxed evening with Rajasthani folk music, dance and traditional entertainment. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at the desert camp.
Overnight: Desert Camp, Jaisalmer
2Day 2:Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Drive to Jodhpur
Wake up to the quiet desert morning and have breakfast at the camp. After checking out, continue into Jaisalmer city for sightseeing.
Start with the impressive Jaisalmer Fort, where you can walk through the old lanes, see the Jain temples and explore the golden sandstone architecture. Continue to Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli, two of the city's well-known heritage houses.
Later, visit Gadisar Lake, a peaceful place to take a break and enjoy some photographs. Vyas Chhatri can also be included for views and sunset-style photography when time allows.
After lunch, leave Jaisalmer and drive towards Jodhpur. Travelers interested in adding something different to the journey can include a stop at the Jaisalmer War Museum or the Khichan bird area, depending on the season and available time.
Reach Jodhpur by evening, check into your hotel and relax after the drive.
Overnight: Jodhpur
3Day 3:Jodhpur Sightseeing – Departure
After breakfast, set out to discover Jodhpur, Rajasthan's famous Blue City.
Your first major stop is Mehrangarh Fort, one of the city's most striking landmarks. Take your time exploring its courtyards, viewpoints and museum collections while enjoying wide views over the blue-painted houses below.
Next, visit Jaswant Thada, a peaceful marble memorial surrounded by gardens. Continue to Umaid Bhawan Palace, where you can explore the museum section and see another side of Jodhpur's royal architecture.
Before leaving the city, spend some time around the Clock Tower and local markets. This is a good place to browse for spices, textiles, handicrafts and other Rajasthan souvenirs.
